During my residency at the studio at Mass MoCA, I carried out #propertablesetting exercise in North Adams Farmers Market, just across from the museum. I met and gathered good table setting samples and backstories from the North Adams residents. These beautiful photos are only a few from over a thousand that Brian Orozco, a fellow resident artist, took for me. Also, other artists, Peter Campbell and Nicholas Crombach, came out to help me assemble and disassemble the cart. So, as much as I designed this project with independence, self-reliance, and self-sustainability. in mind, I have a deeper appreciation of the caring community.
